The Benefit of Staging

With record numbers of homes on the market we’ve learned your home must “shine” against the competition!  We have discovered great success in getting our listings SOLD by recommending our professional stager / decorator to our sellers. Today, homes need to either win the "price war" or the "beauty pageant!"  -often times both!  If your home is not professionally staged, then you risk being seen just like the majority of the other homes on the market - it needs to have a "Wow" factor.  A paint color that is off by just one shade can sometimes be the difference between attracting or not attracting a potential buyer. After 3 major price reductions, countless Open Houses, ads, direct mail, agent showings, etc. the property still had received no offers.  Our sellers contemplated reducing their price or meeting with our stager to update their home to attract today's buyer.  Our stager met with our sellers and gave them a checklist of items detailing paint colors, light fixtures, furniture removal or rearranging, etc.   After the stager and seller made the changes, we had incredible Open House and internet traffic and more importantly, an offer within two weeks!  Is there a benefit to staging in this competitive and challenging market...  absolutely!!
